Soda Blasting
Soda blasting is a process where virtually any surface or substrate may be cleaned or painted surfaces stripped. Blasting with soda is similar to sand blasting except that higher caliber equipment is required and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) is used as the blast media. It has significant advantages over sand blasting.
This process removes paint, carbon, grease, oils, gasket material, surface corrosion, coatings and contaminates without harming the substrate surface. The blasting media is a food grade material and completely environmentally safe product.
